It’s Sid’s first doctor’s appointment, and she grew from 52 to 60 cm! Dude, that’s tall. She likes the boob, and her daddy’s old double chin action seems to be just taking hold…

Daddy leaves for Rio (as an Artist in Residence for the iCommons), and while ‘en route’ Sid gives us her glowing gums for the very first time. Homecoming: daddy just melts….

Can you believe that on Sid’s first (non-medical) outing, we took her to WITS? Poor, poor child. And, Nicole is quick to point out, we spent the whole day there (SOME work, but mostly allowing her colleagues to fawn over the babe). Here’s our dolphin with the Head of the Wits School of Arts, Professor David Bunn!

My tummy hurt so mommy and daddy took me to the chiropractor. First big outing and I fell asleep for the whole car ride! Daddy says it’s like baby massage, but with your clothes on….

And on our (nathaniel and nicole’s) 4th wedding anniversary, we celebrate by getting a fantastically prepared homemade meal from our new friends Andre and Je’anna. V. v. nice. Sidonie’s nicknames to date are:

1. dolphin (cuz she sounds like one when she tries to communicate)
2. angel (duh)
3. beastie (sounds when sniffing for boob)
4. sid (punk rock)
5. sternling (hee)
6. baby ridg (no “E”!)
